Streetart in...

...Athens!

Another new series that we're planning to elaborate in the near future: Bringing you impressions from different cities all over world!

The Streetart in Athens mostly reflects the thoughts and feelings directed towards the Eurocrisis.

Privation and thriftiness wear down the souls of the Greek people.
They demonstrate and revolt – luckily still in a peaceful  manner, at least most of the time. And then there's the art in the city, standing for all the worries and anger about the politic situation. Grafitti is an irreplaceable element to express themselves in public and to give each of them a voice to share their view.
The short film 'The Wake Up Call' is truly a must-have-seen film that introduces you to messages and images of four streetartists and thus shows the connection of reality and art in the streets. Watch it here!
